The DESI dashboard for the Digital Decade

Starting from its 2023 edition, the DESI transitions from being a composite index to becoming an annual set of analyses and measurement indicators upon which the European Commission monitors the overall digital performance of the European Union and Member States, as well as their progress towards the goals set in the context of the Digital Decade.

The Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya undertakes the task of obtaining these indicators for Catalonia in order to provide a reference for its digital status within the framework of the European Union.

Here you will find the dashboard of indicators that summarizes European performance in the four key areas of the Digital Decade: Digital skills, Digital infrastructures, Business digitalization, and Digitalization of public services.

Indicators

Here you can study the individual indicators. The values for Catalonia are shown along with the values of the 27 European Union states, as well as the average value of the EU27.

Compare countries progress

In this section, you can select an indicator and compare its evolution between two countries or with the European Union average.

Compare two indicators

It is also interesting to observe the relationship between two indicators. Each country appears as a point whose coordinates are its values in the two selected indicators. This allows grouping countries based on their similarities across the two selected indicators and illustrates the extent to which they are correlated.
